Music & Song

Music is an important part of the life of the cathedral. We have a choir and a wonderful organist which adds greatly to our worship.

The Cathedral also welcomes musicians and artists from inside and outside of the church and is reguarly used as a concert venue.

Songs & Silence

Over the summer we hold a series of reflective services in the Cathedral on Sunday evenings.  Using Taize and other similar styles of music these services give an opportunity to pray and reflect in the beautiful surroundings and prayerful atmosphere of the Cathedral.  The series is finished for this year but details of next year’s will be announced in the Spring.

Come and round off the day with a time of prayer and reflection in the wonderful surroundings of the Cathedral.

Tower Bells

Not many churches in Scotland have tower bells but Dunkeld Cathedral has a peal of six bells. Every week a dedicated band of people rings prior to the Sunday service and for weddings and other special occasions by arrangement.
